I am an experienced primary school teacher, working part-time and available to deliver Fresh Little Minds resilience programmes in nursery and primary schools, youth and community groups. I have 10 years' teaching experience and 15 years of experience working with young people in voluntary youth organisations. I am a qualified reflexologist and massage therapist. I strive to motivate and inspire the young people I work with to stretch themselves and develop a positive sense of their value. I love the energetic, fun environment of Fresh Little Minds workshops.
There are so many strategies to build children's self-esteem and confidence. From name games to stories to yoga stances, there are so many powerful tools to support children's well-being, now and in the future. I especially love the medium of storytelling and I've found the stories used in FLM workshops have really encouraged children to support each other and show kindness to others. As a parent of two young daughters I've used the relaxation and breathing techniques from Fresh Little Minds to help my own children to wind down and rest. It's great being part of the Fresh Little Minds journey.
