Fresh Little Minds is Unique
It is simply not the case that one size fits all when it comes to supporting children to understand themselves, self soothe and self regulate. All children are unique and respond to their experiences in individual ways. When they have tools to help them navigate their experience they can make sense of the world, develop and grow.
Fresh Little Minds Programmes cleverly integrates a range of modalities, creating the opportunity for children to explore and practice what works for them whilst developing their emotional literacy, self confidence and self image.
The programmes are based on trauma informed approaches and it is this combination that makes Fresh Little Minds resilience and mental health programmes unique, special and unlike any other programme available. Children, parents, teachers and leaders are all reporting multiple benefits as a result of their Fresh Little Minds experience.

The intention of Fresh Little Minds is to do more than educate and teach skills, it is our ambition to harness the power and uplift the vibration of people through creativity and connection.
What are we training you to deliver?
At the Learn to Teach training you will learn to deliver our three 6 week children's programmes which are designed to nurture resilience.
This is our fundamental programme that introduces children to the AMBER approach, teaching them neuroscience and helping them appreciate how their minds and bodies work together. They explore themes including; kindness, bottling up feelings, people time and me time, whilst learning techniques that help their bodies feel better when anxious, stressed, scared, worried or excited.
|
This uplifting programme cultivates aspiration, optimism and hope for the future. Children are encouraged to explore, understand, appreciate and love themselves more fully. They dream and imagine a future in which they play a full and active roll. Encouraged to master fear they begin to see themselves as brave and courageous and learn to try again after setbacks. Children cultivate a growth mindset, build upon their existing character strengths, improve their self image, self worth and self confidence.
|
This is our intense relaxation and self regulation programme where children learn a range of tools and techniques that enhance nervous system regulation and restores physical, emotional and mental balance. Through the AMBER approach children learn how to release stored up energy and emotions and replace the effects of toxic stress with the immune boosting cycles of calm.

Why the Amber Approach?Fresh Little Minds programmes embed the AMBER Approach© for Resilience. The AMBER Approach© for Resilience is completely unique as it explicitly integrates a range of different modalities which support healing processes, strengthen children and restore wellbeing.
The AMBER Approach© for Resilience has been developed by Fresh Minds Education. The Innovative Approach emerged as a result of 2-years desk research and a further 3-yrs field testing directly with children and young people, their parents, teachers and youth workers in primary schools and in community youth work environments.
